Art That You Move

I create kinetic art that uses technology and creative vision to create a canvas that is exceedingly new, elicits curiosity, and sparks excitement. My unique digital collage technique is infinitely transformable, malleable, and expressive.

I welcome you to view and interact with it! Each piece can be portrayed in multiple orientations, flipped, sped up, slowed down, or paused to a still image of your choosing.

About The Artist
Neil Chollick

Roots

Coming from a family deeply rooted in the arts, I was surrounded by creativity from an early age. Raised in Queens, New York, our home resembled a museum with paintings, sculptures, and drawings adorning every wall. My parents and grandfather were artists themselves and as children, we intuitively understood the significance that art plays in a full and engaged life. We spent every summer touring Europe by train with my parents and brother, from age 9 to 14. We visited countless museums, historical sites, castles, cathedrals, and ruins, as my parents wanted to absorb as much art and culture as possible, something I am eternally grateful for.

Music

Music has also been a significant influence in my life, particularly the Grateful Dead, which I am still hooked on and “mildly” obsessed with to this day. Their colorful history and devoted fan base continue to inspire me. As an artist and music lover, I see parallels in my work. The way it flows, the structure, rhythm, theme, dynamics, and the interplay of shapes, color, and contrast. Music and art – they go together naturally.

Passion

My goal as an artist is to help ignite a passion for art within all of you. I want to provide a different perspective on how to see, appreciate, and consume art, through the ability to uniquely manipulate and play with each piece. I want my art to take you on a journey through landscapes, faces, figures, animals, even aliens – where the limitations are only those of your imagination.
